SS24 CUBA REELECTED

I was dreaming of a world full of possibilities.
When I came to Cuba I found the world could be full of limitations

Roaming the streets of Havana I wrapped myself in its many colors, both bright and aged: the old Chevrolet limousines, the colonial palaces, the typical bodeguitas, and the abundance of culture... An abandoned culture that had a previous life.

Then, crisscrossing the island, I was impressed by its lack of virtually everything, in its meagre tobacco crops, its failing enterprises, its empty highways. Yet, everywhere the persevering people under the glare of an unremitting sun.

A country as rich as it is poor. You don’t see Cuba, you feel it.

Absorbed by this experience, I became inspired, naturally. The images of my travel formed themselves into a collection, almost effortlessly. A collection that expresses no less than our wishes for the future of this lushly green island and its generous people.

Cuba may be a forgotten world, but I’m dreaming up the miracle of a better tomorrow.
