Egyptian iconography acts as an intimate bond to both the physical and supernatural worlds, through a glimpse of transcendency we forge golden streets between what was and what is.
It takes Gods, in our Zeitgeist, to inhabit the intangible,
And it takes Guts to revitalise ancient knowledge and adapt it to our modern lifestyle.
Fascinated and mystified, we turn our Guts into tools to propel creation.
This is an invitation to take a step back -
and be aware of a new perspective.
For this collection, we are inspired by earthy, natural colours that we associate with ancient Egypt. We developed laser cut patterns and prints inspired by cosmology, hieroglyphs and the interrelation between nature and ourselves. Loose silhouettes in light silk, cotton and denim - textile manipulation to preserve and prepare for what is eternity.
